Zart means jewelry in Armenian. Seems pretty cliché, but there’s a deeper meaning behind it. Silver jewelry has been an expressive form of art in the Armenian culture for thousands of years. In ancient times, Armenian women layered themselves in very elaborate, traditional Armenian silver jewelry as an expression of who they were, where they came from, their social status, marital status, etc. Our goal is to bring that back to modern-day fashion and most importantly, make it accessible to people of all cultures!

We currently ship within the USA, however, we are working on shipping internationally as well!

You can see what the shipping cost will be during the checkout process. Any US orders over $50 will be eligible for free shipping.

All orders take 2-3 days to process, then 1-5 days to receive (dependent on type of shipping and destination). First class mail will take up to 5 days and priority mail up to 3 days. During the holidays, please be sure to order in advance to avoid delays during the higher traffic shipping season.

No, the jewelry is not dirty, nor are they made of different materials. All of our jewelry is 925 silver and each piece is stamped with the 925 mark as well.

The oxidized finish of the jewelry is a surface treatment and is what gives the jewelry that darkened/rustic look. Just the top layer of metal particles have been given that blackened color. This process does not change the quality of the silver. Over time and wear, the oxidized finish will polish off and the natural silver will shine through.

To clean/polish the jewelry, use a soft polishing cloth. Keep in mind that exposure to certain chemicals and/or climates may compromise the quality of the jewelry (i.e. cleaning agents, perspiration, chlorine, salty water, perfumes and silver polishing). We recommend removing jewelry before performing any physical activity, carrying heavy objects and going to bed.

Yes, our jewelry is waterproof. However, keep in mind that there is a lot of handcrafted detailing to each piece, therefore, there is a chance you may get soap stuck in the crevices (if washing with a solid soap bar). In those cases, we would recommend removing the rings before washing.

We recommend staying away from chlorine and salty water as they can compromise the quality of the jewelry.

Our silver jewelry is handcrafted in Armenia and is made from 925 silver. We are currently working with a small family-owned business, who has been in the silver industry for generations and are truly masters at their craft.

Our CEO has specifically picked out and thoroughly examined each piece for any visible or noticeable imperfections. Any piece that didn’t fit her expectations was sent back to the artisans to fix or re-make. That being said, please keep in mind that this hand-crafted jewelry making process is not different than mass producing with special machinery in a factory. Therefore, no matter how close of an eye the CEO has kept on the production of each piece, there are bound to be slight imperfections that vary from piece to piece due to the manual labor associated with the creation of each handcrafted piece. We like to think of it as a unique quality given to each piece, a sense of character. No two pieces in the world will ever be exactly alike.

We consulted with our artisans when deciding which adjustable rings to set a size limit to, and which to keep just as adjustable. Their recommendation was that the thicker rings can be adjusted to fit most ring sizes. However, the thinner, more delicate rings should only adjust within 1 mm (~1-1.5 US ring size) as they are more susceptible to breakage after constantly being opened/closed to various ring sizes. Therefore, the more delicate rings have an adjustable size range to help prevent the breakage of the product in the future.

We’ve tested our rings out on all types of fingers and we’ve talked to our artisans to ensure the chain size is suitable for most finger lengths -  whether you have shorter or longer fingers, you should be fine! The chains on the double rings are 4-4.5 cm (1.57-1.77 in) long and the double rings will naturally have slack in the chains to allow for easy movement of the finger. As a side note, our CEO has short fingers and she wears the exact rings she’s selling all the time, so no need to worry!
